Andrew McDougall is a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine who is passionate about empowering his patients for the long-term in order to achieve happier, healthier lives. Andrew is one of only a quarter of acupuncturists in Queensland who qualifies as a Chinese herbalist.

After completing a 4 year Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine) at Victoria University, Andrew then went on to complete an internship in China at Shanghai’s Shugang Hospital. Here he was able to learn first-hand the skills that are used by a traditional Chinese therapist and has since continued his professional development by attending and participating in conferences and seminars throughout the country.

Andrew is a registered provider with all Private Health Insurers and may issue sickness certificates for absences from work or study. He belongs to the AHPRA, AACMA, ESCS and upholds the strictest safety and hygiene standards.

With particular interests in psycho-emotional disharmonies, Andrew enjoys resolving depression and anxiety quickly and effectively.

One of Andrew’s other success stories are the many infants he has helped bring into existence by assisting patients with delayed fertility as well as with enhancing outcomes for those undertaking IVF and other assisted reproductive techniques.
